This might be the standard of quality in Canadian accommodation. Lobby is modern and inviting. There are no breakfast options, limited amenities and the typical disinterested attitude you'd expect from Canadian service. The room was somewhat comfortable and relatively clean. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were flat. The bathroom had no ventilation but the lack thereof at least masked the mold and mildew in the shower. The grout in the floor tiles was brown around the toilet and the overflow in the sink was plugged with obvious mold. This is what I would imagine is the equivalent of a Super 8 or Motel 6 in the states. The third star is given due to the carafe or Starbucks in the Lobby, otherwise only 2 stars.
I love this place. I was sad I couldn't stay here this time because it was booked! I did, however get to enjoy the premises, specifically the Moxie's on site. As always, the service, the atmosphere and the food were extraordinary!
Look it's not that fantastic but it's the nicest hotel in the area.. the gym is super small. The pool is indoor and also pretty small. The rooms are nice and clean.
This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms were also well insulated, so noise was not a factor. There's a pool there for the kids to blow off steam, which is a plus. My only wish though is that for the price that we paid for one night, one would hope that there would be a breakfast that comes with your nightly stay. Other than that this is a good hotel.
Nice hotel. I've stayed here three times. The quality of the rooms keeps deteriorating each time I visit. Last month I visited again, and the front desk gave me a room on the first floor that smelled so bad of cigarettes. When I complained, the front desk (older man) said he would change my room but I would now not have the jucuzzi suite. He punished me for complaining and made me feel like it was my fault. The new room was on the main floor as well with no privacy to open the curtains and no jacuzzi and same price. So disappointed. I didn't say anything to him but I will not return.
