I booked two nights for at least $150 per night . Once I got there the horrid woman at check in said I wasn't allowed children in a two double bed room. I was discriminated against and refused service because I have children by the staff at Langley Highway Hotel. WARNING NOT CHILD FRIENDLY AT ALL. And now worst of all I am having to pay a $75 cancellation fee because their hotel refused my stay for both nights to myself and my children because I was discriminated against for having children. Save yourself a headache, hassle and money. ZERO STARS... ONE IS BEING GENEROUS!
I would have given two stars if not for false advertising. We got the "deluxe" room. Pic shows what is online as deluxe (top) and what we actually got. (bottom) And I confirmed we DID get the deluxe. We asked about a different room that looked closer to what is pictured, but that was going to be $50. Granted it is cheap so we expected some deficiencies, but that's just false advertising! Room smelled of cigarette smoke initially from units around ours. We were in front room and pub out front was VERY noisy. Man at front desk was nice tho.
Like I said before...Great for a muchly needed night away. Don't expect to much, no ph in the rooms. Book online for cheaper prices.
HORRIBLE STAFF WHO HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THEIR OWN ROOMS.called 1 hr before hand to confirm they had a king size suite room . Yes 1 left they said we will hold it. Drive 1 hr from downtown van to the hotel. Pay check into the room. Go to the room find a dirty small queen size room !! Sheets on the bed weren't even made !!!DISGUSTING HOTEL !!! After a 20 minute argument with the worker at the from he finally refunded my money after trying to short me 2 times. How simple is math!!! Maybe if they hired decent workers it wouldn't be a SLUM HOTEL !!!
The front clerk was nice and helpful. Location is ideal to grab last minute items. HOWEVER... the bathroom kept making noises...the towel and bedding was like straw. If you need a cheap night away....legit stay there. If you need a good night sleep. ...ya no.
