I chose this company to move a grandfather clock I had purchased privately. The cost of the move was quite high but I needed this done and didn't feel confident enough to be able to do it myself. When the clock arrived, through no fault of theirs, it was not working as it had sat too long unused at the seller's home. Fortunately, the driver brought a small repair kit and oiled the clock to get it running again. However, in the process, he dropped one of the weights and hid the damage that drop caused to the weight by turning the damaged side toward the inside. This was not discovered until 2 hours after he had left. He then charged an extra $50 for oiling the clock and added "taxes" for the tax man. In this case it was a full 12% which would be GST and PST. This was actually an overcharge as PST would not be applicable since only a service was sold. The delivery was done in a timely although not fully honest manner. Of course, I am glad to have my clock and have it working as it should be but this dishonesty has me hesitant about dealing with him again in the future.Further to the owner's response to my review. He seems to have forgotten I was sitting there when he pulled on the weight with such force it came off the chain, smashed against the clock case and went rolling across the floor. It landed so hard that the connection at the top even pulled away from the weight. It hitting the clock case is what dented the weight and damaged the clock case. I witnessed it as it happened so know that damage wasn't there when I bought the clock. He caused it at my home
We purchased a watch for our son and changed our mind at least 3 times. Each time they were pleasant and accommodating and never once made us feel like it was an inconvenience. The best thing about them is that the repairs are done on site unlike so many other jewellers where they have to send your watch out. Each time we have gone in for a repair their service has been impeccable and they have done their best to do the repair while you wait. We choose to drive over 1/2 hour to come to this particular jeweller over any others and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase or repair their watch.
I brought my Tissot watch into this establishment and was glad I did, my battery replacement literally took under 3 minutes and at a cost of only $22. I was very satisfied with the service and look forward to bingring my watch back for future service, thanks guys!
I had a poor experience here getting my watch repaired. I had cracked the glass face but the watch was working fine. We brought it in and were told we'd be phoned back. Parking is poor here btw. Many days later, I had to follow up because I wasn't sure what was happening. I eventually got it back, paid, and took it home. However I quickly realized it was no longer working. I had to bring it in again and then told I'd have to pay because they were careless fixing the face and must have let a shard into the mechanism. A few weeks later, I did get it back working but have had to pay in total over 200 bucks to do a simple repair that took way too long. I won't be going here again.
The staff is friendly and amazing, the store is so big and has a variety of products. I will for sure go back there
